Mammal Control Management

There are a number of mammals that may need control from time to time. Mink traps are an important way to control mink which can predate local wildlife. Grey squirrel traps are an essential tool to control grey squirrels which is needed to protect red squirrels and to protect garden birds. It is illegal to release a trapped grey squirrel back into the wild. You must kill the squirrel, the same with mink, you must kill mink you have trapped. These are both introduced animals that have damaged our environment and seriously predated native animals. Killing must be carried out humanly, we recommend reading the BASC guide to trapping.
