Constructed from impact-resistant, injection-molded plastic, Sidekick holds up well in temperature extremes.

In the field, it works as both a bait station and a monitoring station. Vertical bait securing rods hold block bait securely in the station. As a monitoring station, it holds a T Rex Rat Trap or a Snap E Rat Trap which kills rats as they enter the station.

How To Use

  1. The Protecta sidekick lockable rat bait box hold all types of rat poison and both the Trapper t rex rat trap and Snap e rat trap.
  2. Easy-to-use Sidekick opens to the side for fast, convenient servicing, even when the station is secured. Its interior corners are rounded for easy cleaning, and a built-in card slot holds the Protecta service card.
  3. If you are using poison blocks place these on the four vertical metal rods, you can do the same with grain or paste sachets.
  4. To maximise your chances of rapid and complete rat control thoroughly rub the inside and outside of the bait boxes with local soil/leaf litter or similar - the dirtier the better.
  5. This will camouflage the newness of the boxes and help rats accept these new objects in their territory. It can take up to a week for rats to enter new bait boxes, but if you do this they may start feeding within a day or two.
  6. Place the bait box in the area that rats have been active, ideally on one of their runs.
  7. The Protecta sidekick measures 24cm x 22cm x 11cm), ideal for fitting into tight baiting locations.
