The Cluster fly Prevent Auto Dispenser is an excellent solution to cluster flies in the loft. It contains a natural pyrethrum based insecticide which it releases on a timed basis.

The dispenser can be set to spray at 7.5, 15 and 30 minute intervals. If left in operation for 24 hours, seven days a week, the approximate life of the aerosol will vary thus: 7.5 mins – 15 days; 15 mins – 30 days; 30 mins – 60 days. Each 250ml aerosol of Prevent Auto contains 3000 metered sprays.

The dispenser can be set to spray at 7.5, 15 and 30 minute intervals. Initially set at 15 minute this will give approximately 30 days of aerosol life.
Most people place the dispenser in the attic or loft space as this is the area most commonly affected by cluster flies, but you can place it in any room in the house.
Stand the unit in the area affected and pointing towards any concentration of flies, it doesn’t need to be close.
Turn the unit on by the switch on the side and the dispenser will release a puff of pyrethrum into the air eliminating cluster flies as they become active or enter the space.
The time-release spray is particularly useful as hand held sprays can be ineffective against cluster flies when they are in hiding.
Use March-June and August-December for maximum effect.
Whilst the Prevent Aerosol is particularly effective against cluster flies, it can also be used against many other crawling and flying insects.
As it contains natural pyrethrum it is safe to use indoors including in food storage areas.
